The Second Great Exile was a period of Idiran history lasting from 1345 to 991 BCE. It marked the time from the end of the Skankatrian-Idiran War and the loss of Idir to the Idirans' recapture of Idir.[1]
The exiled Idirans formed into the Holy Remnants. The Homomdans sheltered the Remnants and their descendants, who in return became the Homomdans most trusted crack ground troops. The two cultures continued to cooperate after the Idirans' surprise resurgence and recapture of their home world.[1]
