The VFP Resistance Is Character-Forming (previously the ROU Resistance Is Character-Forming) was a Gangster-class Rapid Offensive Unit that has since been demilitarised into a Very Fast Picket.

After its demilitarisation, the Resistance Is Character-Forming operated as a Very Fast Picket ferrying people and cargo around. It did not have a crew and did not employ avatars or drones, preferring to simply speak to its guests on board out of thin air and use maniple fields to interact with objects and people on board.[1]
Like most Culture ships, it possessed the capability to reconfigure itself and manufacture any necessary goods. It preferred to have more spacious accommodations for about 6 people instead of more cramped accommodations for quadruple that number.[1] Its accommodations area was near the front of the ship.[2]
History[]
The Resistance Is Character-Forming carried Tibilo Quilan on the last leg of his journey from the Winter Storm to Masaq' Orbital. In preparation for his arrival, the ship manufactured a fragrance for its guest that was reminiscent of his home world.
Upon its arrival on Masaq', the ship docked with a module carrying the welcoming party from the Orbital. After Quilan got on board the module, the ship immediately took off and left at high speed.[2]
