A nanohole[1] (or "micro black hole"[2]) is a type of ordnance that may be deployed from spacecraft.
A Culture anti-spacecraft nanohole in the c. 19th century CE could be deployed within 11 microseconds[3] and destroy a Rapid Offensive Unit.[1]
A nanohole deployed into a planetoid would collapse the planetoid into the nanohole leaving minimal debris; satellites at a distance would remain unaffected, including their orbits.[2]
