The Killer-class was a type of Culture Offensive Unit constructed during the Idiran-Culture War. They were among the first Culture purpose-built warcraft in over 500 years.[2]
Description[]
Units constructed early in the Idiran-Culture War were 200-metres long. Their engine units had a power output of perhaps 1% of a small star and had an operational speed of less than 87.6 kc.[3]
History[]
Killers were initially classified as Rapid Offensive Units.[3] By the c. 19th century CE, they were classified as Limited Offensive Units.[4][5]
The custom-designed Type 4 Offensive Unit built by the GSV Sleeper Service in the decades prior to the encounter with the Excession near Esperi was roughly equivalent to a velocity-improved Killer.[6]
