A chuy-hirtsi is a species capable of interstellar travel at warp speeds. They may be referred to as "warp animals".[1]
Chuy-hirtsi may be captured and rendered dormant until needed.[1] They may be used as interstellar transports. Parts of the animal may be hollowed out to provide space for cargo and passengers[2]; one example carried 44 troops of an Idiran raiding party, including 8 Idirans and 19 medjel.[3]
